Bangkok has been in a state of weirdness for the last couple of months, with the “Shut Down Bangkok” movement taking over the streets beginning on January 13, 2014. One of the main (but most peaceful) protest sites is just down the street from our house. Here are a few of the pictures we have taken since then. We have walked through the protest site near our house quite regularly and haven’t felt any fear, anxiety, etc. Mostly just annoyance that our routine has been shaken up.
