MY FIRST ATTEMPT AT POSTING A BLOG…BE PATIENT, PLEASE! ;-)

Week One Bangkok

Well, we have made it safely around the world…

A few of the balcony views. We have a total of 4 we can go out on. It’s great!

 

I am enjoying the fact that the pool is on the 14th-ish floor (it’s actually a mezzanine) and we can look out over part of the city.

 

I am VERY glad that I do not have to drive in this mess. It’s backwards AND borderline maniacal (especially the motorcycles on the sidewalk)!

 

Even here CRAZY stuff happens to me. You can change time zones, but you can’t avoid crazy apparently! This is our cab driver and Matthew putting the backseat back into the cab. We had to take it out to reach around the natural gas tank in the trunk and shimmy a box out of the trunk latch. When the guy at the store loaded the cab’s trunk he slammed one of the boxes in the latch and it got S.T.U.C.K.

We were all smiles when we finally got the trunk popped and the seat back in!

 

 

These are just the beginnings of our adventures in Thailand, and I hope to post about the many more to come as they occur. Thank you all for your love, support and prayers while we are on the other side of the world!
